Responsibilities include:

  • Dispensing NWBA’s funds, as approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Signing cheques co-signed by another officer or director.
  • Keeping NWBA’s books and financial records.

  • Preparing budgets and assuming the responsibility for all NWBA’s finances.
  • Reporting on the status of league funds.
  • Serving as a NWBA Executive Board Member.

All NWBA Board positions are elected for a one-year term that completes Sept. 30th of each year.
In the off-season, the board typically meets once per month, usually via an online meeting. During the busy spring season (April to June), the board, or subcommittees of the board, may meet more frequently. Other board business is conducted via the Slack app.
