Duties include:

  • Soliciting and securing local sponsorships to support NWBA’s operations.
  • Collecting and reviewing sponsorship and fundraising opportunities.
  • Organizing and implementing approved NWBA fundraising activities, such as bottle drives and pub nights, in conjunction with NWBA’s Special Events Coordinator.

  • Coordinating participation in league fundraising activities.
  • Liaising with NWBA’s Social Media Coordinator and Website Coordinator to disseminate information about league fundraising activities and sponsorship updates.
  • In conjunction with NWBA’s Treasurer, maintaining records of monies secured through NWBA’s sponsorship and fundraising initiatives.

All NWBA Board positions are elected for a one-year term that completes Sept. 30th of each year.
In the off-season, the board typically meets once per month, usually via an online meeting. During the busy spring season (April to June), the board, or subcommittees of the board, may meet more frequently. Other board business is conducted via the Slack app.
